Karen is thrilled to be a member of the WellDays team. As a Regional Planner with a Masters degree from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and over 25 years of experience with projects ranging from major shopping centers to single family developments, she always helped her clients understand the impact of their projects upon its users and the surrounding community. Mya Hyman
Wellness Experience Director
Mya Hyman is a young professional passionate about coordinating memorable events and programs, communication and leadership studies, and personal development. She believes that personal development is a key to living a fulfilling life because it helps people reach their potential. In her current role for a nonprofit, Mya has the pleasure of managing programs and workshops intended to help women business owners gain knowledge and improve their skills. Mya earned an MS in communication from Purdue University and plans to pursue a doctorate. She hopes to influence people by leading a faith-driven life full of kindness and without worry. This can be tough for Mya who lives with digestion disorders that can affect her mentally and physically daily if she is not mindful of what she consumes. She is a self-proclaimed amateur chef cooking plant-based meals from scratch and maintaining her person through running and dancing. She accepts any challenge to a game of Phase 10 and loves action-packed and mystery movies.

Shananda Poulus
Wellness Experience Director
With over 10 year in the wellness industry, Shananda brings her proven leadership and strategic direction experience to WellDays. As a manager for franchise massage clinic and wellness advocate, she creates an environment for healthy living and body work thorough her vast knowledge of massage therapy, skin care essentials, and nutrition. Her passion for educating clients on the benefits of massage, self care and the power of positive thinking makes Shananda a happy spirit with a contagious heart. Shananda stays on top of her own issues with inflammation through regular massages, the mastery of laughter, and her gift of music. You can spot her at local karaoke venues, foodie hot spots, traveling, enjoying every Lady gaga concert, and even starring in musicals. Shananda shares her world with husband T.J and fur babies Minnie and Pumpkin.
